ONE-TO-ONE PSYCHOTHERAPY
Gestalt therapy — a space to hear yourself again.
Understand what you're feeling. Recognise what you need. Make room for different choices.

Who is Gestalt therapy for?
Psychotherapy may be an important step if:
You're experiencing anxiety, tension or feeling overwhelmed by everyday responsibilities.
You're lacking energy, motivation or a sense of connection with yourself and your life.
You feel stuck or notice the same problems and patterns repeating in your life.
You're going through a loss, separation or significant life change.
Difficulties in your relationship or family are affecting your feelings and choices.
You want to better understand your needs, boundaries, identity and how you relate to others.

Why Gestalt therapy?
The word Gestalt conveys the idea of a whole.
Rather than focusing only on the problem someone brings, this approach considers the whole person — their thoughts, emotions, bodily experiences, behaviour and relationships.
Gestalt psychotherapy pays particular attention to the present moment: what you feel, what you need, how you respond and how you connect with yourself and other people.
Through the therapeutic process, you can develop the ability to:
Recognise your feelings and needs more clearly.
Notice patterns that influence your relationships and choices.
Connect thoughts, emotions, bodily responses and behaviour.
Explore inner conflicts that may be keeping you stuck.
Discover new ways of responding and connecting with others.
Gestalt therapy doesn't tell you who you should be.
It helps you understand yourself more deeply and develop greater freedom to choose how you want to live.

Why choose Gestalt therapy at KORA?
Psychotherapy isn't a collection of ready-made advice or prepared answers.
IIt's a shared process in which experiences, feelings, needs and relationships are explored with care, respect and without judgement.
At KORA Centre, you have space to be yourself and talk about what matters to you — without having to justify yourself, defend your feelings or know the answers straight away.
During our work, we don't focus only on why something happens. We also explore:
How a particular pattern develops.
How you experience it emotionally and physically.
How it influences your relationships and choices.
What you might need for new possibilities to emerge.

An important part of psychotherapy is the relationship you build with your therapist.
Alongside professional expertise, it's important to have a space where you feel heard, accepted and safe enough to explore what matters to you.
Gestalt psychotherapy at KORA Centre is provided by Sever Jurišin, Gestalt psychotherapist.
He combines more than 25 years of professional experience, analytical thinking and a strong sense of responsibility with attentive listening and a deep interest in people's inner worlds.
His areas of particular interest include life transitions, inner blocks, relationships with parents, loss, separation and experiences that continue to influence our choices and relationships.
His approach focuses on creating a safe, supportive space where you can explore your feelings, relationships and patterns without fear of judgement.
What does the psychotherapy process look like?
Every therapeutic process is individual and develops according to your situation, needs and pace.
01. Your first meeting
Our first conversation is an opportunity to get to know each other and explore what brings you here, what you're currently experiencing and what you'd like to better understand or change.
It's also important to notice how you feel during the conversation and whether there's enough trust and a sense of safety to continue working together.
02. Ongoing sessions
During individual psychotherapy sessions, we pay attention not only to what you think and say, but also to your emotions, bodily experiences, relationships and patterns that influence how you respond and make decisions today.
We don't simply look for explanations of what's happening. We explore what you notice in the present and what new possibilities might emerge as you gain a clearer understanding of yourself and your situation.
The length of the therapeutic process varies. It may be shorter when you're working on a specific issue, or longer when you're looking for deeper personal exploration and development.
